On December 10th at 20:45, we stepped onto the court for one of the biggest matches in our club’s history—the Super Cup. After a season of hard work, determination, and progress, we had earned our place in this prestigious fixture, facing off against Luxol Futsal, one of Malta’s top teams. While the final score ended 8-2 in Luxol’s favor, the experience was a testament to how far we’ve come and the ambition that drives us forward.
Earning Our Spot Among Malta’s Best
Our participation in the Super Cup was a reward for the efforts we put in throughout last season. Through teamwork, discipline, and passion, we secured our place in this high-profile match, proving that we belong among the best in Maltese futsal. Representing UM Futsal on such a stage was not just an achievement for us as players, but also for the entire university community that supports us.

From the start, Luxol showed their experience and quality, challenging us at every turn. However, we stood our ground, fought for every ball, and made sure to leave our mark. Our standout moment came through Steve Camilleri, who found the net twice for us, showing our ability to compete at this level.
