In the beginning of the year, UM Futsal confirmed two important sponsorships, both of which have a certain sense of legacy that the club respects.
Firstly, UM Futsal announced the return of Betsson Group as our official sponsor for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. The agreement will see the Betsson brand prominently featured on the front of the team’s official match shirts.
Betsson Group, a global leader in the online gaming industry, operates over 20 brands across multiple jurisdictions. The company is recognised for its commitment to responsible gaming, technological innovation, and customer-focused experiences. With a workforce spanning the globe, Betsson places strong emphasis on safety, transparency, and integrity in all aspects of its operations.
This renewed partnership reflects a shared commitment to performance, professionalism, and continued development both on and off the court.
Commenting on the collaboration, a Betsson Group representative stated they are “glad to be back” — a sentiment we fully echo.
Secondly, the extension of the partnership with TDM2000 Malta was also extended. The two on campus organisations share a long history of collaboration on and off the campus of the University of Malta. In a comment to the press, President Duncan Muscat, wished all the best of luck to the UM Futsal Team and said that the organisation he presides will keep on supporting the club in our student endeavours. He mentioned that the synergy that the collaboration provides is a sentiment carried by all other student organisations.
President Andrea Varrazzo thanked both sponsors and also all the other existing partners, namely the University of Malta, MITA, iPaymix, General Soft Drinks (through Powerade), Fort Fitness, Shawn’s Pastizzeria, and last but not least, The Print Guy.
