The UM Futsal Team entered the Premier section of the league and proceeded to tally up with the big boys.
The club was able to produce amazing results against Ta’ Xbiex and Marsaskala, producing positive wins and a number of goals which helped the team steer clear of the threats that these two teams pose. The club also produced positive results against Swieqi United and Luxol, however these ultimately ended up in defeats.
The results were as follows:
University 4-5 Swieqi United
University 5-2 Ta’ Xbiex
Luxol 5-3 University
University 6-5 Marsaskala
These results permit us to enter the Playoff phase of the league.
Andrea Varrazzo, and Zvezdan Vuković, thanked the players and mentioned that they have demonstrated hunger and motivation in order to secure such spots, and both admired that any negative result does not sit well with the players, which proves their aspirations to greater heights.
